Students of the Faculty of Medicine of the “Vitrina” University on Sunday, on June 26.2011, they have embraced it in order to come closer to the culture of Turkish people. More specifically, they stopped in the historic city of Istanbul, a city which from day it was founded, it has never lost epithet of “economic center” and still maintain the same intensity. The city represents the “backbone” of the Turkish economy.
Students of the Faculty of Medicine, of the “Vitrina” University visited Istanbul, which is one of the special cities in the world that with its position is the bridge between Europe and Asia. Simultaneously, given the great advantage of history and culture, Istanbul has also made special progress and is on track to become the center for “congress tourism” because of its complexity and its geographical position. Today, designated as the door of Turkey in the Western world, Istanbul is the center position to realize significant income in the country both from industry, trade and tourism.

Students had the opportunity to visit the complex of the “Blue Mosque”, designed by the famous Albanian architect Mimar Sinani and then they boated in the Bosfor Strait, where they contemplate the palaces and the various seraglios of sultans. The visit continued with a walk in the streets, museums and parks of Istanbul. It was a really nice experience that the professional internship of the students of the Medicine of the “Vitrina” University in one of the largest hospitals of the hospitable Turkish people, was interweaved with knowledge of the habits and culture of these friendly people.
